AMADOR TRANSIT: MONDAYS IN PLYMOUTH! Every Monday, Amador Transit will make three bus trips leaving our Sutter Hill Transit Center at 7:40am, 11:00am and 3:10pm. The bus will travel through Sutter Creek, Amador City, Drytown, and from Plymouth, to the River Pines Market, then back the same way to the Sutter Hill Transit Center.
STORY TIMES AT THE AMADOR COUNTY LIBRARY. Amador County Library pre-school story time will resume at the main library in Jackson, Thursday September 12th at 10:30 a.m. Story time runs from September – May and is open to children 0-5 and their caregivers. All story times are 30 minutes and consist of one – three stories, songs and a simple craft. Pre-school story time is also available at the Ione Branch. The Boy Scout Troops of Amador County are collecting your newspaper donations and accept on an on-going basis. The large cargo container sits at the very back of the parking lot. We ask that you only donate actual newspapers, no glossy advertising, magazines or books. All proceeds directly benefit the various Troops in Amador County. the Amador County Library (FACL). The Friends is holding a book drive at its
book storage facility behind the old courthouse in Jackson, 42A Summit Street on Saturday, September 14,
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Because of the Friends’ successful book sales and fund
raisers, the non-profit organization has been able to contribute significantly
to the library, enabling the purchase of new books, e-books, online resources,
and other important library services.
For those who have books to donate but who can’t make the
book drive, FACL has set up donation boxes at the following locations:
