AMADORARTS: CALL FOR ARTISTS Artists and community groups of all ages are invited to help beautify the fairgrounds by repainting trashcans, fire hydrants, and other various objects around the Amador County Fairgrounds.
Classrooms, Clubs, Organizations, Non-profits, Businesses, and individual artists are encouraged to participate! Several of these objects were painted years ago but are now fading, wearing-away, or chipping. This call for community service is a fun way to sustain the iconic fairgrounds and to show how proud our community is of the #1 Small County Fair.
Interested parties can contact the Amador County Fair to schedule a visit, decide which object(s) they want to paint, and then, present a design to the fair. Once approved, artists may do the painting on their own time during Fair Office hours Mondays through Fridays from 9-4pm. Call the Fairgrounds at 245-6921 and email address is havefun@amadorcountyfair.com.
