HOLIDAY GIFT SHOW AT HANFORD ST. GALLERY
On Friday, November 29th the Hanford St. Gallery will kick off the Holiday shopping season with  a presentation of Fine Art Crafts by 20 artists.  With everything priced under $100 this is the perfect opportunity to find that unique gift at an affordable price.  From ceramics to tea towels and wood boxes to beeswax candles this irresistible collection offers something for everyone on your list.
Chet Chapin will offer turned wood bowls Shaker Boxes and toys for the little ones and Marilyn Baldwin's plates and dishes are always a delight.  Embroidered items by Karen VanDeventer and small paintings by Sarah Dixon will please both the eye and the purse.  Soaps and beeswax candles by Marilyn Wentling and Wheat Weavings by Torie McDonald are straight from nature and the organic pottery of Steve Scaduto brings it own visual and tactile pleasures.  The irrepressible Lorra Lee Rose is sure to delight with her creations and small sculptures by Laurie Williams will bring a smile.  A children's book by Susan Ross and Barbara Alexander is a perennial favorite and photos on stone by Cynthia Biles will tease the imagination.  Rare wood and burl boxes by Gary Ristrom will gracefully hold those small  items on you dresser.  Felted items by Shari Schreiber and small paintings from Karen Hale will look great under the tree and the riot of color in the glasswork from CHAOS by David and Heather Hopman will always find a place.  Round it all out with a great selection of note cards and holiday cards by Bruce Peccianti, Lisa Aikenhead and Al Herrick and you may find your shopping chores completed in a single stop.
Hanford St. Gallery located at 291 Hanford St. (next to the Days Inn) in Sutter Creek is open Thursday thru Sunday from 11am to 5pm and the show will run through Sunday, Dec. 22.  There will be a reception for the artists on Saturday December 7th from 4 to 7pm and you are invited to join the festivities as part of the Amador 1st Saturday Art Trek.
