Amador County:  Household Hazardous Waste Reopening at Buena Vista Landfill Every Other Saturday 
The Household Hazardous Waste collection will begin again at Buena Vista Landfill from 9 AM to 1 PM. This includes batteries and paint. It is for Amador County households only.

AMADOR COUNTY: PROPERTY TAX POSTPONEMENT PROGRAM
Property Tax Postponement applications for the 2020-2021 tax year are now available
California's Property Tax Postponement Program allows homeowners who are seniors, are blind, or have a disability, and who meet income, equity, and other requirements, to postpone payment of property taxes on their primary residence.

Amador County's 2020 Spring Book Sale Is Postponed
The Friends of the Amador County Library's 2020 Spring Book Sale, scheduled for April 24-26 at the American Legion Hall, has been postponed. No new date has been announced. FACL's 2020 Fall Book Sale is scheduled for October 16-18. FACL is also not able to accept any donations until further notice. Amador Resource Conservation District has a program to provide up to 50% reimbursement for Amador County property owners east of Hwy 49, to help pay for the removal of dead or dying hazard trees on their property that could fall on an inhabited structure.
