AMADOR COUNTY CONCERT BAND PRESENTS: “CHILLS & THRILLS” - A free concert will be presented by the 43-member Amador County Concert Band under the direction of Steve Chambers on Sunday, October 6th at 3pm. The program will be held at the Community Church of Pine Grove, 14045 Ponderosa Way, Pine Grove.
  Featured music will be a special medley of “Phantom of the Opera” by arranger Johan De Meij, music from “Dances with Wolves”, a medley of film score title songs by Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice, Tales from the Crypt, Spiderman), and more!
  Join us on October 6th for this wonderful free event. Doors open at 2:30pm so arrive a few minutes early for best seating...ample parking…music begins promptly at 3pm. Visit the band’s website at www.accband.org for additional information or to find out how to join the band.

KENNEDY MINE SPEAKER SERIES PRESENTS: CEDRIC CLUTE - Cedric Clute, local historian, speaker and storyteller will be sharing Tales of the Mines and Miners on Thursday, October 17 at 7 pm in the Kennedy Mine Change House. Known for his Tales of the Mother Lode, Cedric will share bits of mining lore and Amador County.

Amador Resource Conservation District has a program to provide up to 50% reimbursement for Amador County property owners east of Hwy 49, to help pay for the removal of dead or dying hazard trees on their property that could fall on an inhabited structure.

Amador Resource Conservation District has a program to provide up to 50% reimbursement for Amador County property owners east of Hwy 49, to help pay for the removal of dead or dying hazard trees on their property that could fall on an inhabited structure.
