FAITH ALIVE! SUMMER CAMP June 26-29 from 9AM to 3PM & June 30 from 9AM to 12 Noon. An exciting week of games, crafts, songs, Bible encounters and more! For all kids going into 1st through 7th grade this Fall. Space is limited to 35 campers, and pre-registration is required.

THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS (NAMI Amador) is holding an affiliate meeting and support group on Tuesday, June 27 in the Meadow Conference Room at the Outpatient Building of Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson from 5:30 to 6:45 pm. The rear doors of the Outpatient building will be open and there is parking available nearby.
Carla Fry, who has an MS in Counseling will be the speaker for the meeting. She will be talking about Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and Panic Disorders.
From 6:45 to 8:00 pm we will conduct confidential Support Groups for family members and individuals living with mental illnesses.  For information call NAMI Amador (at ATCAA) 209-223-1485 Ex. 266.

West Point pianist Ron Brickman performs a program of concert paraphrases of patriotic music and highlights from America’s musical history.  Works by Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Stephen Foster, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Samuel Barber, Beethoven and others. THE PROGRESSIVE WOMEN’S COMMITTEE meets on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at The Highway House (formerly Thomi’s) banquet room. The speaker will be Candidate for Congressional District 4, Regina Bateson. Reservations are required and may be made at sallytrestrail@gmail.com  no later than Tuesday, July 4th (sooner if possible).
All those interested are welcome to attend. The buffet luncheon is $15.00.  You may pay at the door. Cash (the exact amount is always appreciated) or personal check only.

MASTER GARDENERS PRESENT: KIDS IN THE GARDEN - Looking for something a little different to keep the kids busy? Why not bring them to the "Kids in the Garden" Public Education class provided by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County on Saturday, July 15 from 9am-Noon? Learn how to make and maintain your own worm farm. Investigate how to make a butterfly garden and which plants encourage beneficial insects to visit our gardens. Plant seed trays and practice transplanting seedlings. Information provided and all activities are kid friendly. All ages are welcome. The class is free and open to the public. However, we are asking that you call 209-223-6838 or email mgamador@ucanr.edu to register to ensure adequate supplies. All classes are held in the GSA building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson.
