REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS: Jazzin' It Up in Jackson is just around the corner and we are looking for volunteers to help us make this the best Jazzin' yet!  This year we will be closing down Main Street Jackson to make more room to enjoy the music and wine tasting.  The event is Saturday June 22nd, from 6-9pm.  It is a free event, featuring three bands, street performers and wine tasting in 23 Jackson shops.

    We need quite a few volunteers to help us watch the street barricades to ensure this is a safe event for everyone.  Hour and a half to two hour shifts are available from 4pm to 930pm.  There will be chairs and water available to you.  There are still a few shifts open for help at entry stations and selling waters as well.

SEEKING LOCAL, REPUTABLE RESIDENT AS A CARETAKER(S) to look after the Pioneer Resort Lodge Property.  The property will be put on the market for sale and marketed until sold.  The sale of the property may take months or years. The position will be available for qualified candidates in the next 30 – 60 days. Given the duties and overnight stay requirements they are looking for someone, an individual or couple, who are reputable, capable and available to fulfill the following job duties:

1. Maintain the pool, hot tub, General light maintenance, landscaping, housekeeping to keep the rooms in order. 2. Occasionally show prospective buyers around 3. Protect the property from any criminal element, vandals; keep any squatters off the property, very limited guests permitted. 4. No drugs, alcohol, children. Maybe a dog. 5. Commitment to this Position will likely be for 6 months to a year, depends on how long it takes to sell the property.

Pay will be $1,000 per month plus they live on site for free. The resort is going to be closed so there will be no guests to check in or out. Living on property is a must. They don’t need to be there every minute but they do need to be there every night.

Limited guests, no parties of any kind. Candidates must pass drug and back ground checks on a regular basis.
